Step 1: Open any web browser from your computer or laptop.

Step 2: Enter mail.aol.com in the address bar of the web browser.

Step 3: If you have signed in already on some other AOL account then first you have to tap on Sign out displayed at the upper right corner of the displayed page.

Step 4: Now, you have to revert back to the mail.aol.com.

Step 5: Next, you have to enter the username or email address of AOL mail account. Tap on the Next button. Enter the password for your account.

Step 6: Hit on the Sign-in button.

Step 7: At last, a message will display on your screen saying AOL account is reactivated successfully. 

For Premium Subscribers of AOL

Step 1: The first step is to open the internet browser of your choice.

Step 2: Visit the AOL login webpage from the internet browser used by you.

Step 3: After that, you have to enter the username and the email address to proceed further.

Step 4: You need to check the box given with the signed in button. Tap on the Next button to go ahead. Enter the AOL account password in the respective field. 

Step 5: Hit on the login button.

Step 6: Once you sign in to AOL mail account, tap on the My Services option. 

Step 7: Next, you need to choose the Subscriptions from the available list of options.

Step 8: Thereafter, search for the AOL product or service which you want to activate.

Step 9: Hit on the Subscription Information option and copy the Access URL. Paste the URL in the address bar of the new internet browser.

Step 10: Now, you are navigated to a new page to download a file after entering the login credential details of AOL account. 

Step 11: Once you enter the username and email, tap on the Forgot password.

Step 12: Follow on-screen instructions to recover the AOL account password or to set up the new password. 

Step 13: When you log in to the AOL account, follow on-screen instructions to reactivate the unused or inactive AOL mail account.
